ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration program is a comprehensive career planning program that includes a multiple aptitude test battery, an interest inventory and various career planning tools designed to help students explore career opportunities. This test is administered by a representative from the military, however, there is no obligation to enlist after taking the ASVAB. The test is offered at no cost to our students.
Students must be in grades 10-12 to be eligible to take the ASVAB.
The ASVAB helps students to:
- Identify, understand and organize information about student’s skills, interests and work related values
- Identify suitable occupations to investigate and pursue based on student’s skills, interests and values
- Use career information resources to further explore occupations
The date for the 2022-2023 school year ASVAB is Wednesday, March 29th at 7:30 in the Library Classroom.
Registration is now open for the 3/29/2023 ASVAB.
- Parkway South High 10-12th grade students can click here to register for the ASVAB.
