Parkway Digital Content
The Parkway Clever platform brings many K-12 district applications into one secure portal and provides single sign-
on for students. It is a way to access most district provided digital resources. Within the Clever portal students have access to:
Discovery Education
Pebble Go (elementary level)
Sora app for ebook and audiobook on the OverDrive platform
Destiny Discover (Parkway's library catalog)
Parkway middle school librarians created a site to share what is available to students. It includes reading bingo, book talks by teachers, Missouri Readers Award Nominees, Parkway summer reading lists, accessing digital books, and other reading opportunities.
Additional elementary and secondary library databases can be accessed on each school's library page.

Library Partnership
In 2015 Parkway School District partnered with St Louis County Library and the ConnectED Library Challenge to ensure all students had the opportunity to receive a library card.
The bit.ly/SLCLresources site contains virtual library card access directions, database information, STEM resources, available eCourses, and program catalog.

One of the many roles librarians hold is that of curator. The evolution of digital content allows librarians to link program and practice priorities to learning objectives for students. Below are curated resources that are organized, accessible, and ready for use by and for readers.

Storyline Online is a children's literacy website created by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which provides free storytelling by celebrated actors including Viola Davis, Kristen Bell, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin and more. The site contains videos and resources for parents and teachers to foster a love of reading in children.
Starfall.com is a free public service to teach children to read. Since then it has expanded to include language arts and mathematics for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. Starfall’s emphasis on phonemic awareness, systematic sequential phonics, and common sight words in conjunction with audiovisual interactivity has proven effective in teaching emergent readers.

Digital Experience Calendar
The digital experience calendar created by Jonathan Redeker is an entire calendar of digital experiences for all ages, interests, and abilities. The calendar has daily podcasts, online theater, webcams, activities, story times, virtual tours, musicals, lessons (art, science, cooking, etc.), author visits, sing alongs, and virtual field trips. Students have the opportunity to learn from artists, athletes, scientists, authors, zookeepers, and celebrities who are sharing their talents and expertise virtually. *Note: all times are Eastern Standard Time
