Thank you to all our high school leaders for a great school year! Combined, our programs reached over 3,000 middle school students!
Parkway PATH (Peers Advocating for Total Health) is a teen-led initiative that consists of a series of programs geared to prevent and/or reduce the student's use of alcohol, e-cigarettes, marijuana, and other drugs as well as build resiliency and support systems. Through age-appropriate conversations, PATH programs educate students about the unhealthy consequences of drug use and the benefits of choosing a healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, our hope is to empower each student to have the attitude to “Learn It, Live It, and Pass It On.”
PATH programs recruit high school students to facilitate meaningful lessons ranging from smoking prevention to character education. These students sign a Code of Conduct and serve as role models among their peers, for younger students, and in the community.
